A High School Reunion brings back memories of friendships formed, extracurricular groups, those awkward pre adult stages in life and more. It’s nice to reminisce with old classmates and see what they’ve been up to over the years. Though we live in a world filled with social media now, face to face gatherings are still relevant and I don’t think that will ever change (or at least I hope not).
On August 24, 2019 the North High School Class of 1999 had their 20 Year Reunion. The reunion consisted of two parts – a daytime portion at Riverview Park where classmates could bring their spouses, children and even their pups. The class grilled out and enjoyed time on the playground. In the evening everyone gathered at The Pablo Center at the Confluence for more reminiscing, but without the kiddos and dogs this time. Tours of the new art center/organization were held throughout the night, a slideshow of previous reunions and school photos played on repeat while attendees enjoyed appetizers, beverages and a beautiful view of the newly renovated Haymarket landing.
