This post is a little late to the blog, but these photos of my folks apple picking are just so adorable I can’t not put them up here. Each year for the past few years we’ve gone to Mcliquham Orchard in Foster, WI to pick Honeycrisp apples. Which if you’re not familiar with these apples, they are delicious with just the right amount of sweetness and crispness, definitely my favorite. The family that owns this orchard is always so welcoming and kind. I really enjoy the experience of purchasing from local farmers vs. just going to the grocery store.
Mcliquham Orchard isn’t too far from where we live, maybe a 15-20 minute drive south. The drive is actually pretty scenic and relaxing which makes the experience even better. During this year’s venture I had recently gotten my new camera body (Canon 6D Mark II) and decided why not test it out here!
I am loving the candid moments of apple picking and that I got them to look cuddly for once. 😉 My parents are pretty adorable at times. I think my mom could be a model, she is great at laughing and giving genuine smiles for the camera, these are some of my favorite photos of her.
Heck I adore these photos so much that I may just have to offer apple orchard photos next September. 🙂 Who would be interested?!
