Holli Jacobson is a painter/mixed media artist based in Eau Claire, WI at Artisan Forge Studios. Holli is known for her abstract paintings, but also draws illustrations and creates installations. She has been featured at the Eaux Claires Music and Arts Festival 2017, has had worked displayed at various galleries throughout the Chippewa Valley and recently had this piece, ‘Engulfed Materialized’ on display during the ‘Now: Emerging artists of the Chippewa Valley’ show held at The Pablo Center at the Confluence over June and July 2019.
I was hired to photograph her installation throughout a day as the sunlight shifted. This gives viewers an idea of what the piece was like depending on the time of day and from various viewpoints. I also captured a few portraits of Holli with her piece. This piece was from floor to ceiling and was created with cloth, fishing line, paints and more.
